This thermometer is compact and includes a convenient cover that protects the 5" stem with an antimicrobial coating for easy, sanitary carrying. The clip on the cover even makes it easy to attach to a pocket, so that the thermometer is always on hand when you need it. This particular thermometer has a temperature range of 0 to 220 degrees Fahrenheit and is accurate to +/- 2 degrees Fahrenheit. The HACCP danger zone is even highlighted in red on the dial, showing unsafe food temperatures so that proper action can be taken immediately. The freezing point is also highlighted, though in blue. For overall ease of use, the thermometer's dial is 1" in diameter and features a magnifying lens.
